Paget Welding & Engineering Co. opened in January 1964 and has worked in the Mackay region ever since. Our workshop is at 83 Connors Road in Paget, where we handle welding and fabrication in steel and aluminium alongside machining and engineering repairs.
Plant and equipment repairs make up a good share of any given week. The rest is fabrication built to order, ongoing maintenance and parts machined for machinery that's long out of production.
The work comes from contractors, construction companies, industrial operators and local business owners, with some travelling up to 100km to reach us. Usually that's because a job needs someone who'll look at the part properly rather than quote it sight unseen.
We're a workshop first. The same people who quote your job are the ones who weld or machine it.
